Dschinn-TL is a design of Bernd Timmermanns, one of the most famous speaker designers in Germany. The Heartcore delivers deep bass down to 22 Hz in a compact chassis. The disadvantage: a low efficiency of 77 dB (2,83V, 1m).

For midrange the Tang Band W4-655C is deployed. The bass is provided by a Tang Band 25-1933 S woofer. The Tang Band tweeter 25-1933 S plays above 3200 Hz.

The crossover consists of second-order filters.

The frequency response of the speaker-system is very flat; the decay spectrum is very good.

The kit with high-end crossover contains Mundorf coils capacitors in series to the loudspeakers. In series to the woofer a transformer core coil is used. Elsewhere (except L4) baked varnish air core coils are used.

Impedance correction

  If you want to use a valve amplifier with this speaker an impedance correction should be employed. In this case the component quality is less important; therefore, we offer only one kit (upon request higher quality components are available).
