Versacube is the first system kit that can be placed on the Versacube subwoofer cubes introduced in Klang+Ton 6/2006. For the left side you need two Versacube subwoofer cubes and the top cube with Peerless drivers.

The top cube is equipped with a Peerless HDS DM 26 fabric dome tweeter and a Peerless HDS Exclusive 180 midrange / bass driver.

This cube (the top cube in the picture) can be used on its own or in conjunction with one or several subwoofer cubes.

Excerpt of the review in Klang+Ton 1/2007:
... "Initially, the sound was rather unspectacular and reserved, but soon after turned out to be extremely balanced and almost unexpectedly sensitive. Both drivers formed a coherent unit where the tweeter here and there added some highlights by emphasising the upper tops just slightly, but, due to extremely fine dynamics, never got out of line. Playing some standard songs used for reviews it became clear, even without close listening, that the great Danes were capable of bringing out details that some other speakers would just ignore. At the same time they possess a pleasant, musical behaviour and they don't get carried away in over-analysing, providing some excitement for a short while but starting to bug soon after. Needless to say that the matching bass cubes showed the same tightness and fine dynamics. In a nutshell, this combination works extremely well. The cubes are outstanding long-term instruments, reproducing everything, from lowest bass to highest tops, revealing new details on recordings all the time without turning the fun of listening to music into some artificial process."
