Holger Barske and Christian Gather set themselves the goal to design a real fun speaker. The sound had to right - and additionally, this speaker had to be a jack-of-all-trades and useful at parties. The cabinet design had to consider some typical party behaviour like using the speaker as a counter, placing objects on it. The metal fittings are from Ikea, like e.g. the front grille being sold as a saucer for pots called "Lämplig".

But first, the speaker should be capable of reproducing music: therefore, good sound was first priority and obviously the weight.

For bass a 30 cm img Neodym woofer was chosen:
- the extremely light SP-30/200 NEO weighing a mere 1.4 kg
- the Celestion Truvox-0615MR midrange driver takes over from there
- for treble the quite reasonably priced MHD-220N/RD was selected

Excerpt of the review in Klang+Ton 4/2007:
Outdoor use: ..."The sound was surprisingly well balanced and complete at a distance of more than 2 metres. The bass is rich and powerful as one would expect it from a fun speaker. And as it should be, there are no unpleasant surprises neither at higher volumes nor reproducing today's typical low grade pop and rock recordings. Moving around one looses some presence, but there is no spot where on wouldn't like to listen to this speaker. Indoors the sound is quite similar. The sound is a notch more stable and intimate, displaying, however, comparable characteristics as outdoors. Dynamics are quite potent, independent of where the speaker is being used. To better this one would have to use a Schmitti Memorial. But typical home speakers just can't produce the sound pressure needed - keep them where they belong. This kind of universal speaker is fun, especially in summer and outdoors and there are many occasions where this speaker practically and sonically will prove itself." ...
